Our Story
World-class systems, components, and support for over 44 years and going strong!
Tyson Steel Building Products, Inc was started in 1976 by James L Tyson as a small secondary material supply company and has grown to a present day pre-engineered metal building manufacturer.
Jody and Brad were raised in the business and, on a summer basis, learned the business from the fabrication side up, developing strong relationships with employees and customers along the way. In May 2005 they would go to take over management of the operation.
We are a family owned company for over 40 years and have great relationships with suppliers and customers throughout the Southeast Region and more. Our facility is located in Doerun, Georgia where we can supply a customer with a total pre-engineered metal building package to meet their needs and any additional components that they may need also.
Our Process
Tyson Steel can take your metal building project from dream to creation.
We have experienced sales people to guide you through the metal building design and pricing process.
Once a metal building package is sold, then we can assist in providing design drawings on the steel package and possibly assist in designing the foundation also.
After the concrete work is complete, we will deliver your steel building package and even erect the building package, if needed.
We can provide a streamlined metal building buying and erecting process.

For the past 44 years, Tyson Steel has been a young, ambitious company under young leadership who has formed knowledge of the business from ground up.
This business is built on faith and hard work, both (Brad & Jody) have children and families of their own that will continue the legacy and continue to build on knowledge and customer satisfaction on an ongoing basis.
Through hands on accessibility from Brad & Jody, We aim to achieve all within reason to insure that the customer has a pleasant experience and is happy with the overall end product.
